Material Safety Data Sheets
What are they?
A material safety data sheet (MSDS) is a form containing data regarding the properties of a particular product. An important component of workplace safety, it is intended to arm employees and emergency personnel with the vital procedures for handling a product in a safe manner, and includes information such as physical data (melting point, boiling point, flash point, etc.), toxicity, health effects, first aid, reactivity, storage, disposal, protective equipment, and spill handling procedures.
Who are they meant for?
• Employees who may be exposed to a particular hazardous product at work.
• Employers who need to know the proper methods for product storage.
• Emergency response personnel.

Using the FaxBack service:
• From a touch tone telephone dial (281) 584-2828. Follow the telephone prompts
• Enter the SUPC Number of the product. This will be a 7 digit number on the Sysco product label.
• Enter your fax number. Your MSDS will be faxed directly to you!
To search online:
• Click here to search for your MSDS online .
• Enter the SUPC Number of the product. This will be a 7 digit number on the Sysco product label.
• Click on the number (with file extension .pdf) and print the MSDS.
